Famitsu Sales: 3/15/21 – 3/21/21

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of March 15, 2021 to March 21, 2021.

The Switch version of Densha de GO!! Hashirou Yamanote Sen was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 24,393 sales—up from the PlayStation 4 version’s 21,592 opening sales in December 2020.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 89,104 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 34,657 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 2,578 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 1,929 units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.
