Yo-kai Watch 3 version 3.0 update launches this spring in Japan

New Enma, quests, areas, and more.

Yo-kai Watch 3 version 3.0 update

Level-5 has announced a free, version 3.0 update for Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi, Yo-kai Watch 3: Tempura, and Yo-kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki. It will launch this spring in Japan.

The update is titled differently for each version of the game:

  • Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi – Tokujou (Extra Special)
  • Yo-kai Watch 3: Tempura – Zeppin (Exquisite)
  • Yo-kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki – Tokusen (Special Choice)

Here’s everything you can expect:

  • New Enma – Each version of the game will add a new Enma.
    • Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi – Taiyoushin Enma
    • Yo-kai Watch 3: Tempura – Jikuushin Enma
    • Yo-kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki – Ankokushin Enma
  • New Quests – New quests have been added, including those where you can befriend KJ and Fubuki-chan.
  • Version-Exclusive Yo-kai – Each version of the game will add exclusive new yo-kai that can be obtained.
    • Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi – Isononami
    • Yo-kai Watch 3: Tempura – Yamaokami
    • Yo-kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki – Tsukinoyami
  • New Yo-kai – Various new yo-kai that can be obtained in every version of the game have been added, including Agyou, Onmoraki, Chouchin Obake, Gosu, Ungyou, Doubyoushi, and Mesu.
  • New Dungeon and Guardians for Busters Treasure Mode – A new Yo-kai World-like, onsen-esque dungeon had been added to Busters Treasure mode, as well as new Guardian Anahori Mogzou. Bushiou and Captain Thunder will also appear as Guardians.
  • Kemamoto and Nagisaki – Kemamoto and Nagisaki have been added to the game’s RPG parts. You can ride a helicopter, explore a peaceful mountain village, and discover yo-kai. Nagisaki is a port town where you can fish.

Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi and Yo-kai Watch 3: Tempura launched July 2016 in Japan, followed by Yo-kai Watch 3: Tempura in December. A western release has yet to be announced.
