Virtual reality cooperative heist game PAYDAY: Aces High will launch for SteamVR and Quest on November 5 for $24.99, developer Fast Travel Games announced.
“Our last playtest showed us that PAYDAY: Aces High is playing the way we hoped it would,” said Fast Travel Games chief creative officer and co-founder Erik Odeldahl in a press release. “Crews were coordinating their approach, scrambling to recover when a stealth run fell apart, and lining up for another job as soon as they made it out. Since then, the team has been tuning every part of the game for launch, and this final playtest is our last chance to put that work in front of players before release. On November 5, players get to plan the approach, handle the gear, and carry the bags out with their own hands, with three friends watching their back. That is the PAYDAY fantasy, and [virtual reality] is where it feels the most real.”
