Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember Alpha Demo survey results announced

Improvement plans for the full game detailed.

Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team NINJA have released the results of the Alpha Demo survey for Three Kingdoms action RPG sequel Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, including improvement plans for the full game based on player feedback.

Here is the summary in brief:

In the Alpha Demo—which was available between Sept. 16 and 30, 2026—fans were able to get a first glimpse at the open field of Changban, joining forces with Liu Bei’s army in fierce battles against the pursuing armies of Cao Cao. Following the completion of the Alpha Demo, fans were invited to complete a survey to provide feedback. A report has now been compiled following the survey, detailing improvement plans for the title’s full release.
Firstly, as a result of survey responses, the complexity of the Insight Skill system will be addressed, with a focus on improving its success detection. Additionally, the Spirit system’s gain and loss balance will also be reworked, while Martial Arts and Wizardry Spells will be made stronger. These modifications will enable greater freedom in Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember‘s combat system, encouraging players to take a more aggressive approach during battles. Furthermore, optimization will be improved, including upgrades to graphics and faster loading times.
