Floating islands-set cooperative sandbox survival game Aloft will launch for PlayStation 5 alongside its full release on PC via Steam in early 2027, publisher Funcom and developer developer Astrolabe Interactive announced.
Aloft first launched in Early Access for PC on January 15, 2025.
“The PlayStation 5 release will feature the same gameplay experience as the PC version, including all five updates released during Early Access plus the major 1.0 update,” Funcom said in the announcement.
It continued, “Whether you’re building a cozy skyship among the clouds or discovering the secrets of the past, there’s a colorful open world for you to explore on your own or with friends. With the upcoming console release, we’re looking forward to welcoming even more players into the skies.
“Since launching into Early Access, we’ve released five major content updates, introducing new wildlife, intricate puzzles, combat improvements, glider customization, deeper exploration, and much more. Discover lost knowledge, cure fungal corruption, care for your animals, and brave the elements as you restore ecosystems and embark on new adventures across the skies.”
