
Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for the two weeks spanning August 3, 2026 to August 16, 2026.
Rhythm Heaven Groove remained the top selling game, moving an additional 139,363 retail copies. Beast of Reincarnation for PlayStation 5 was the highest selling new game with 48,157 retail copies sold.
On the hardware side, Switch 2 sold 65,560 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 19,955 units, the Switch family sold 15,020 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 135 units.
