Famitsu Sales: 3/7/22 – 3/13/22 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of March 7, 2022 to March 13, 2022.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus for Switch was the highest selling game last week, moving an additional 34,362 units. It was followed by the PlayStation 4 versions of Elden Ring and Gran Turismo 7, moving a respective 30,341 and 20,806 additional units.

Chocobo GP and .hack//G.U. Last Recode for Switch were the only new releases to chart in the top 10. The latter opened at 12,414 retail sales, while the former opened at 11,097 sales.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 97,706 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 16,286 units, the Xbox Series family sold 1,962 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 16 units. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles continue to face stock issues.
