Famitsu Sales: 9/30/19 – 10/6/19 [Update]

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of September 30, 2019 to October 6, 2019.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint for PlayStation 4 was the highest selling new release, topping off at 54,733 first week retail sales. The other two notable new releases of the week, Super Robot Wars V for Switch and Amnesia Later x Crowd for Nintendo Switch, did not chart in the top 10.

As far as the best selling title of the week, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition remained on top following its launch the previous week with an additional 56,667 sales.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 89,137 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 12,388 units, and the 3DS family sold 1,303 units.
