Media Create Sales: 12/22/14 – 12/28/14

Media Create has published Japanese sales charts for the week between December 22 and December 28.

The holiday week saw the debut of The Irregular at Magic High School: Out of Order for PS Vita, which sold 22,000 copies, and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor for PlayStation 4, which sold 14,000 copies.

Both new releases were bested by Nintendo software, however. Yokai Watch 2: Shinuchi moved another 262,000 copies, making it the week’s top seller. It’s followed by Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which moved another 165,000.

3DS hardware moved another 196,000 units, while sales for Wii U, PS Vita, and PlayStation 4 continued to climb from the previous week’s already higher than normal sales.
