Digimon World Re: Digitize a “return to origins”

PSP game pays respects to PS1 original

Namco Bandai launched the official site for Digimon World Re: Digitize today. It shares the first direct-feed screenshots and artwork of the game, as well as information on its concept.

The game’s official blog describes it as a “return to origins,” inheriting basic gameplay systems from Digimon World 1. It notes the first game as that of the most praise, which is why they’ve taken this route. The next blog update will reveal the game’s developer.

The first screenshots and artwork can be seen at the gallery.
