D3Publisher bringing White Knight Chronicles II to North America

When Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced White Knight Chronicles II for Europe, Sony Computer Entertainment America didn’t make a peep. This is why. D3Publisher’s announced today that they, not SCEA, will be handling the North American localization for the Level-5 RPG.

White Knight Chronicles II includes a remastered version of the entire first game on disc, so newcomers won’t have to pick up the first game to fully immerse themselves. Unlike the Japanese version, where players needed a completed save of the first game in order to play the second, the North American version allows you to jump straight to the second regardless.

The game features over 400 weapons and armor, the ability to create a knight for their custom avatar and use it during online multiplayer quests, new skill types and spells, and more. Combined with the first game, the package promises over 100 hours of gameplay.

It’s out Summer, exclusively for PlayStation 3. Check out screenshots, including three of US exclusive additions, box art, and the logo at the gallery.
