Narrative-driven fantasy action RPG Bringer announced for PS5, PC, iOS, and Android
Playable at Gamescom 2026.
China-based developer YHKT ENTERTAINMENT has announced narrative-driven fantasy action RPG Bringer for PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android. It will be playable for the first time with an early hands-on demo at Gamescom 2026, which will run from August 26 to 30 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany.
Here is an overview of the game, via YHKT ENTERTAINMENT:
Bringer is a 3D action RPG built around an expansive, story-driven fantasy adventure. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the game combines cinematic direction, expressive character performances, and meaningful player agency to deliver storytelling that extends beyond traditional pre-rendered cutscenes. Through exploration, combat, and interactive sequences, players will gradually be drawn into this fantasy world and experience the story firsthand rather than simply watch it unfold.
In the world of Bringer, players will embark on an adventure shaped by clashes between civilizations, colossal lifeforms, and an uncertain fate. The story unfolds in a distinctive world defined by the “Thalassa” and colossal creatures known as “Arkiloth.” Playing as a traveler harboring a hidden secret, players will navigate competing factions and ancient mysteries, gradually uncovering the truths buried deep within the world.
At the heart of Bringer is an experience that combines fast-paced action combat with narrative-driven exploration. During combat, players can seamlessly switch between party members in real time, use different weapon modules, and engage in high-intensity encounters. Mechanics such as parries, dodges, and finishers add tactical depth while making every encounter feel responsive and impactful. Meanwhile, story sequences, exploration stages, and combat encounters are tightly integrated, allowing players to remain immersed in the world as the narrative progresses.
