After sending out an announcement trailer on Friday, TimeGate has detailed, as well as sent out the first set of screenshots, for their 2011 sequel Section 8: Prejudice.
Promising to bring the IP to “new heights”, Section 8: Prejudice picks up where the first game left off. Players will rejoin the 8th Armored Infantry as they discover a mysterious new threat powerful enough to “shake humanity to its core.”
The game will include a brand new and longer campaign, a “one-of-a-kind” multiplayer experience, and over fifty customizable weapons, tools, and upgrades.
“As you can see, we are very committed to this universe. The development team has tremendous passion for the IP,” said Adel Chaveleh, CEO of TimeGate Studios. “Feedback from the community and media has been used to drive every single development decision on this project. Prejudice is taking everything popular about the first game of the series and pushing the envelope further. We’ve created a brand new and compelling story-driven single-player experience, expanded the world with new environments and massive amounts of new equipment. Prejudice is a full-blown sequel in every sense.”
Details on platforms are to come at a later date. As for now, check out the screenshots at the gallery.
