Rumor: PS3 Slim and Price Cut arriving at TGS 2009?

The latest issue of PlayStation World Magazine in the UK contains a rumor on the PlayStation 3 slim designs that were supposedly leaked out, but not confirmed at E3. Apparently, it will be announced during the Tokyo Game Show in September this year.

“The PS3 Slim Packaging looks almost identical to the confirmed PSP Go, so it isn’t a fake. Expect the smaller, lighter PS3 to be announced at the Tokyo Games Show in September, just in time for Xmas”

Apparently the PS3 Slim announcement will come with a price drop as well, with the magazine also writing that we should “Expect the long-awaited price chop to be announced at the Tokyo Games Show”, as well.
