Story

Spring is almost here!

Strolling down a street paved with pastel tiles, the sun warms my back as pigeons flock by the roadside. Amid this everyday scenery, it’s another ordinary morning, with just a soft whisper of spring on the wind.

“It’s a little warmer again today, huh?” Akari pipes up as she turns her eyes to me, her bangs swaying gently in the breeze. “I guess winter’s over.”

“I guess it is,” I answer offhandedly, and Akari giggles. I don’t know why.

ToHeart is a “heartful,” heartfelt, and comedic multiple-ending visual novel.

The protagonist is an utterly ordinary young man, but his friends Akari, Masashi, and Shiho make every day a happy one.

As winter turns to spring and March turns to April, the wind also carries a whisper of love.

Characters

• Akari Kamigishi (new voice by Kana Ichinose, original voice by Ayako Kawasumi) – She’s the protagonist’s childhood friend. Having known each other since before they can remember, she understands the protagonist better than anyone else. Caring, friendly, and just a bit overbearing at times, she’s not the subject of the protagonist’s romantic interest, but as the story progresses they gradually grow closer and closer…
• Multi (new voice by Hina Youmiya, original voice by Yui Horie) – Official Name: TYPE HMX-12. A prototype of the latest home-use robot developed by Kurusugawa Electronics! She’s introduced to the protagonist’s high school as a student on a trial. Above all else, she loves to make people happy. Although, when her emotions run high, she sometimes collapses due to overheating…
• Shiho Nagaoka (new voice by Kakeru Hota, original voice by Chieko Higuchi) – She’s a classmate of the protagonist. She’s known the protagonist and Akari since junior high school. She’s diligent but maybe a little hyper-fixated on the things she loves like karaoke. Sensible and never one to be held down. She and the protagonist are good friends and may prove to be a surprisingly good pair.
• Aoi Matsubara (new voice by Shirasu Saho, original voice by Mayumi Iizuka) – She’s one year younger than the protagonist. She’s trying her best to create a mixed martial arts club. She is honest, polite, and positive. Despite this, she sometimes feels distanced from those around her, making her anxious and worried. She looks up to the protagonist as her favorite upperclassman.
• Hiroyuki Fujita (voiced by Shogo Sakata) – Well acquainted with both Akari and Shiho, having known the two since early childhood and middle school respectively.
