Cozy farming adventure life simulation game Littlelands will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on November 16, publisher Apogee Entertainment and developer HyperMegaPixel announced. A new demo is available now as part of Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition.
Following the positive reception to its first public demo, the new demo incorporates community feedback alongside new character customization options, improved combat, a minimap, quality-of-life additions, and more.
“We hope everyone enjoys our cozy quest with this smoother and more customizable demo,” said developer Rafael Martin in a press release. “We’re looking forward to seeing what cool characters people create with the new hairstyles, clothes, and hats!”

Littlelands is a charming world filled with adorable characters and vibrant, claymation-like landscapes, lush with vegetation. Experience the daily life of the Littlelands at your own pace, exploring all of its mysterious nooks and crannies as you get to know and help the region’s quirky inhabitants. Grow berries, hunt for treasure, fish, or just sit on a wooden bench and watch the sunset.
What started as a simple task to fix a computer has now turned into a once-in-a-lifetime trek through hills, valleys, caves, jungles, deserts, and more. Bring your trusty shovel; who knows what you’ll encounter out there?
The demo, clocking in at around two hours, features custom character creation, six unique areas, multiple shops, twenty NPCs to interact with, a selection of tools to unlock, and seven enemy types for aspiring adventurers to whack.

- Improved Combat Mechanics – Lock onto enemies, circle your target, and dodge incoming attacks with an improved combat system that makes encounters smoother and more responsive.
- Expanded Character Customization – Create an even more personalized adventurer with new hairstyles, eyes, facial cosmetics, clothes, hats, and other customization options.
- New Minimap – A community-requested minimap makes navigating towns, trails, and the wider Littlelands easier than ever.
- Smoother Controls – Updated default controls make exploring, interacting, and adventuring more intuitive, with button rebinding available for both gamepad and mouse & keyboard.
- Camera Auto-Rotation – Mouse and keyboard players can enable automatic camera rotation for a smoother exploration experience.
- Focus Glow – An optional visual effect can highlight objects that can be picked up or interacted with.
- Frame Rate Cap – Players can now select a frame rate cap through the graphics settings.
