Famitsu Sales: 8/31/26 – 9/6/26
Onimusha: Way of the Sword debuts at 95,029 retail copies sold.
Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for the week of August 31, 2026 to September 6, 2026.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword was the highest selling new release, opening at 76,530 copies on PlayStation 5 and 19,499 copies on Switch 2 for an opening week total of 96,029 retail copies sold.
On the hardware side, Switch 2 sold 24,281 units, the Switch family sold 11,591 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 7,760 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 127 units.
