Polden Publishing and developer Crossbridge Game Studios have announced side-scrolling cooperative horror game Lost Railway for PC (Steam). A closed playtest is available now.
Here is an overview of the game, via Polden Publishing:
About
Enter Lost Railway, a 2D cooperative horror with up to four players where the world is dark and grim, but you play as a cute and resilient animal survivor. Explore wastelands on your train and gather all kinds of useful resources to keep it moving. Scavenge for loot in old, forgotten bunkers, fight off unspeakable mutated horrors and get back alive with your friends.
Key Features
- New Dimension of Cooperative Horror – Team up with four players in the first cooperative 2D quota horror. Atmospheric visuals meet high-intensity extraction survival gameplay.
- Loot Your Way Out – Every run is a desperate trip for loot, tools and resources for your train. Grab everything worth carrying and make it back alive.
- Cute Animals and Terrifying Monsters – Play as cute yet resilient animal survivors in a world full of scary monsters. Very charming on the surface, but horrifying underneath.
- Some Battles Are Won By Running – Fight common and elite enemies with scavenged weapons. Beware—invincible enemies can’t be stopped, only avoided.
- Every Second Counts – More loot keeps your train moving, but every bunker door is on a timer. Control your greed and scavenge fast—supplies are scarce, and the clock is ticking.
