Electronic Arts to release “major IP” and “remake” in early 2023

Electronic Arts will release a “major IP” and “remake” in early 2023 alongside an EA Partners title, EA Sports title, and EA Sports PGA Tour, the company said in its financial results presentation for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2022.

The company also noted that the four unidentified titles “have not yet been publicly disclosed.”

While the immediate guess is that the remake is Dead Space (2023), which is currently in development at Motive for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, Electronic Arts already announced that it will launch in early 2023. However, Dead Space is not listed on the release schedule, which raises the question of whether Dead Space is the remake referenced, or Dead Space has been delayed and this is a separate remake entirely.
