Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes facing development difficulties
Level-5 president hopes to announce release plan by April.Level-5 president and CEO has provided a brief update on Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes—which is due out for PlayStation 4, Switch, iOS, and Android this spring in Japan—citing development difficulties.
“We’ve kept you waiting on Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes for a long time now, but as one might expect with changing engines and the like, we are facing difficulties in development,” Hino said on Twitter. “By April, I would like to announce our plan for things such as when and how we will to put this out. The image [above] is new. Please give us a little more time.”
Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes has suffered long delays. Previously known as Inazuma Eleven Ares, the game was originally planned for release in summer 2018 in Japan, but was then delayed to fall, then again to winter, then again to sometime after May 2019, before finally being retitled and given a spring 2020 release window.
