Media Create Sales: 10/30/17 – 11/5/17

The PlayStation 4 version of Call of Duty: WWII sold 168,234 units during its first week of release in Japan, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal.

In comparison, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare debuted in 2016 at 105,764 sales on PlayStation 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III launched in 2015 to 164,716 sales across PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Also new this week, Bandai Namco‘s .hack//G.U. game collection .hack//G.U. Last Recode launched for PlayStation 4 at 61,816 sales. And the latest entry in Nintendo‘s Style Savvy fashion game series Style Savvy: Styling Star for 3DS launched at 32,176 sales.

Neither of the two new releases were able to outsell Super Mario Odyssey, however, which sold another 116,931 copies following its launch the previous week.

On the hardware front, Switch sold 64,387 units, down from last week’s 126,701 sales brought on by the release of Super Mario Odyssey, but high nonetheless. The PlayStation 4 family sold 28,823 units, and the 3DS family sold 20,856 units.
