Switch sales top one million in Japan

One million sales in just under four months.

Total sales of Switch hardware in Japan have surpassed one million units as of June 25 with a total of 1,016,473 units sold since its March 3 launch, according to Famitsu sales data.

The platform’s top five selling games in Japan (also as of June 25) are as follows:

  1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (04/28/17, Nintendo) – 501,614 units sold
  2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Nintendo, 03/03/17) – 460,480 units sold
  3. 1-2-Switch (Nintendo, 03/03/17) – 200,807 units sold
  4. Arms (Nintendo, 06/16/17) – 154,845 units sold
  5. Super Bomberman R (Konami, 03/03/17) – 92,112 units sold
