Koei Tecmo has updated the Musou Stars official Japanese website with details and screenshots of newly confirmed characters Tokitsugu from Toukiden 2, Ayane from Ninja Gaiden, and Arnice and Christophorus from Nights of Azure.
Get the details below.
Tokitsugu (voiced by Kouichi Yamadera)
Machina on the outside, brave warrior on the inside. A machina created by the Professor that contains the soul of a person within. It is a brave warrior despite its cute outward appearance and serves as a mentor to the rest of the Slayers. None can equal its skill with a rifle.
Ayane (voiced by Wakana Yamazaki)
A young ninja and ally of Ryu Hayabusa. Raised in isolation in the Hajinmon sect, the “dark side” of the Mugen Tenshin clan, she is an eternal outsider. With a cursed birth leaving her destined to live in the shadows, she trust very few and keeping all others guessing about her next move.
Arnice (voiced by MAO)
A girl who possesses the power to defeat fiends. A holy knight in service to the Curia. After coming in contact with the Nightlord’s blood, she became a half-demon. Her half-demon nature has given her blood-drinking powers, and she fights with a demon sword composed of her own blood. Though she seems like a calm, collected woman at first glance, she harbors a fierce passion deep within her.
Christophorus (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa)
A demon who masks her true desire. A masked pureblood demon who lives in an opera house. Raising her conductor’s baton, she beckons the audience toward death as she directs her symphony of destruction. She appears before Arnice every now and then to give her advice, but her objectives and actions remain a mystery.
Musou Stars is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan on March 30.

Update 02/03/17: Koei Tecmo has released a few more new details introducing the game’s “Hero Card” system, facilities, and more.
Hero Cards
“Hero Cards” are fragments of cards used when heroes are summoned. Each hero can be equipped with one card at a time. If equipped, the hero’s ability will increase. Also, by synthesizing Hero Cards with specific materials, various effects can be granted to the card.
The Bar
The bar is the facility where the heroes gather and talk among each other. The heroes stuff their faces with food, play card games, and stand around chatting. By talking to them, you can get a glimpse of what the heroes have in common and their different ways of thinking.
The Lodge
The lodge is the facility where the heroes go to relax. When you enter, there will be an game cabinet, massage chairs, space for chatting, and the atmosphere of a Japanese hotel lobby. It is here you can see the heroes enjoy themselves in between battles. The lodge is also your entry to the bath.
The Bath
The bath, which is connected to the lodge, is the facility where the heroes go to bathe. Just like the “Pool of Purity” from the Toukiden series, it is a place where characters go to heal their fatigue, and you can also enjoy situations where the player character accidentally enters. You can enjoy conversations between characters with several patterns of dialogue based on their friendship level. You can of course enjoy the conversations that come out of combinations of characters, as well as their remarks that change as their friendship level increases.
Headquarters
At the headquarters, you can hear explanations about the other world in which the game is set from its royalty—original characters Tamaki, Setsuna, and Shiki—as well as listen to discussions that supplement the story.
Friendship Level
Every hero has a friendship level. Friendship level can be increased both inside and outside of battle, and offers various changes and benefits at certain stages. Friendship level can also be increased in the sanctuary, as well as change based on your dialogue choices.
There are five stages of friendship: acquainted, associated, friendly, trustworthy, and beloved. All character friendship levels start from zero at the beginning of the game. Even if characters were already acquainted in their original games, they’ll build a new friendship in the new world of Musou Stars.
Friendship ability is an ability unlocked by increasing friendship level between heroes. The friendship level with the heroes you’ve befriended determines the type and level of the abilities you’ve unlocked. Friendship abilities automatically take effect during battle.
Training Grounds
The training grounds is the facility where you can train the heroes. Using the money you’ve acquired, you can level-up your characters, but the level can’t be raised higher than that of the hero with the highest level among the group.
