New fighters, moves, story chapters, and more.

Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2

Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2 is coming to PlayStation 4 as a standalone physical and digital release on PlayStation 4 in North America, and will also be available as a digital upgrade via PlayStation Network for Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, publisher Aksys Games announced. It will launch in 2017.

The game includes all of the previously released downloadable content from Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator, as well as new fighters, moves, story chapters, and more.

Here’s a list of features, via Aksys:

  • Upgrades, Lots of Upgrades – Two new characters, Baiken and Answer enter the battle! New stages, moves and motions are just the beginning of new content to explore!
  • Legends of Rock – Expanded story and arcade modes shed new light on Jam, Kum, Raven, Dizzy, Answer and Baiken!
  • Balance is the Key – A complete re-balancing of each fighter means that everything old is new again! Explore different fighting techniques with your favorite characters or start fresh with new brawlers!

While not announced by Aksys, as it doesn’t handle Arc System Works’ PC releases, the PC version of the game is also likely headed westward.
