World of Final Fantasy launches October 25, E3 2016 trailer

Chibi Final Fantasy game includes Sephiroth summon pre-order bonus.

World of Final Fantasy

World of Final Fantasy will launch for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on October 25 in North America, October 27 in Japan, and October 28 in Europe, Square Enix announced.

Pre-orders for day one edition copies of World of Final Fantasy will include Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII as a summon to aid players in battle.

In Japan, the game will cost 5,800 yen for the standard edition, and 6,980 yen for the Square Enix e-Store-exclusive “Morimori Box” limited edition including a special box, art book, and “Selections from Grymoire” soundtrack CD. First-print copies will include the Sephiroth summon. Both the Sephiroth summon and “Dark Behemoth” Mirage are included with the Morimori Box.

The Japanese opening theme song is “Innocent²,” written and sung by Mizuki and composed by Ryo Yamazaki. The ending theme will be sung by Kana Hanazawa, Eri Kitamura, and Ayana Taketatsu, who voice characters Ena Kuro, Seraphy, and Tama, respectively.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Square Enix:

In World of Final Fantasy, players lead a pair of twins, Reynn and Lann, through the land of Grymoire on a search to rediscover their lost memories. Throughout their adventure, players will collect, raise and battle adorable beings of classic Final Fantasy lore, including cactuar, chocobo and behemoth, to create customizable, strategic tower combinations to take on the most challenging of opponents.

Square Enix Japan will host the first in a series of World of Final Fantasy live streams on June 12 at 17:00 JST. It will feature diretor Hiroki Chiba and Lann voice actor Soma Saito. You’ll be able to watch it live on YouTube and Niconico.
