Media Create Sales: 6/20/16 – 6/26/16

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns was the top-selling new game release in Japan last week, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal. The Marvelous-developed 3DS title opened at 100,000 sales.

Also new this week, FuRyu and Aquria‘s Caligula opened at 31,000 sales. Minecraft: Wii U Edition followed at 22,000 sales, and Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for Wii U at 18,000 sales. Nippon Ichi Software‘s Coven and the Labyrinth of Refrain dungeon RPG for PS Vita opened at 17,000 sales. The retail version of Umbrella Corps for PlayStation 4 opened at 9,000 sales.

Hardware-wise, the amount of units moved remains similar to last week.
