2K Games and Gearbox Software have revealed new details surrounding Battleborn‘s Incursion Mode.
A strategic competitive multiplayer mode, Incursion drops players in the middle of a war zone with the object of driving minions into enemy territory to find and destroy their two Sentry Bots. The other team is tasked with doing the same, which results in the match becoming a balancing act of defending territory and escorting waves of minions. Players can recruit powerful Thrall mercenaries, use Shards to activate buildable tactical structures like Automatic Turrets to attack the enemy or Healing Stations to regenerate health. Battleborn is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 3.
