Monster Hunter X for 3DS sold 1.48 million units during its opening week in Japan, this week’s Media Create sales numbers confirm.

The release of Monster Hunter X pushed 3DS hardware sales to a total of 131,000, with over 105,000 sales coming from the 3DS LL model.

Also new this week, Hyperdimension Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls: Dream Fusion Special for PS Vita opened at 17,000 sales. And Blade Arcus from Shining Ex opened at a total of over 20,000 sales on PlayStation 4 and PS3.
