Ni-Oh still “very much in development”

"We still need a little time before showing it off."

Ni-Oh

Ni-Oh is still in development, Team Ninja producer Yosuke Hayashi told VentureBeat.

“I have heard rumors that it’s been stopped, but it’s actually very much in development,” Hayashi told the website. “We still need a little time before showing it off, but it is starting to come together and feel good. You should definitely keep an eye out for it in the future.”

Ni-Oh was first announced by Koei Tecmo for PlayStation 3 in 2005. Five years later, it was revealed that Team Ninja would be heading the game’s development. In 2012, it “completed” alpha production. And last year, Koei Tecmo said the game will surprise you.

Let’s hope the wait isn’t too much longer now.
