Drakengard director wants next game on PlayStation 4

But he doesn't have the money, director says on Twitter.

Drakengard 3

Drakengard 3 director Yoko Taro, who also directed the original Drakengard and Nier, wants to make the next Drakengard on PlayStation 4, he said on Twitter.

“Thank you for your message,” Taro said in response to a fan asking for the next DrakengardDrakengard 4—on PlayStation 4. “I hope to make the game for PS4 but I can’t have enough money for development.”

Drakengard 3 launched for PlayStation 3 on December 19 in Japan to 114,000 sales. The game is coming to North America and Europe sometime this year. Perhaps if it does well, we can expect another entry in the cult RPG series.
