Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers announced for PlayStation 3
Latest Saint Seiya game coming this fall in Japan.
Namco Bandai’s new PlayStation 3 title countdown site is likely for Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers, revealed in this week’s Jump as the latest game entry in the series.
The fighting action game will feature playable characters from the series’ Sanctuary chapter up until the Elysion chapter. Characters from The Lost Canvas and Omega will also be playable.
Confirmed characters include Pegasus Seiya, Phoenix Ikki, Andromeda Shun, Cygnus Hyoga, and Dragon Shiryu. Gemini Saga, Kaiou Poseidon, and Meiou Hades will also appear. Gemini Kanon and Athena both appear in the main artwork.
The game is due out this fall in Japan.
Recent Saint Seiya games include Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle for PlayStation 3 in 2011, which released in Europe and Japan, and Saint Seiya Omega: Ultimate Cosmo for PSP last November, which never left its homeland.
