Nippon Ichi talks Hundred Knights, mystery projects

Project D announcement not far off, teases NIS.

Famitsu this week has a feature article on Nippon Ichi Software’s 20th anniversary, which includes new details on a few of the company’s upcoming titles. Here are some key points:

  • The Witch and the Hundred Knights – because the team has little history with 3D technology, there have been some rough patches. However, the game is steadily progressing, and Nippon Ichi hopes to share its next update in the form of a video.
  • Project Arcadia – will be a lighthearted game that can be played in short instances.
  • Project D – guesses as to its identity are not far off from what everyone is expecting. (Everyone’s been guessing it’s Disgaea 5, I believe.) There is a hint on their summer greeting card. The official announcement is not far off.
