One Piece: Pirate Warriors European release date set

Due this September, collector's edition announced.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors will launch in Europe, with standard, collector’s, and digital editions available, on September 21, Namco Bandai has announced.

The collector’s edition will include the “Thousand Sunny” ship, “a great big sloop that will carve up the sea before the Straw Hat Pirate crew as they scour the horizon for adventure.” It marks the first time the ship has been featured in a One Piece game in Europe.

Developed by Omega Force in collaboration with Tecmo Koei, One Piece: Pirate Warriors follows Luffy and the Straw Hat pirates as they relive the One Piece anime up to Marineford. Story mode promises “beloved characters, powerful enemies, touching moments and memorable scenes.” And players can team up with friends in online or local co-op, as well.

New footage, featuring Luffy and Bartholomew Kuma, can be seen below. View a new set of screenshots and a high-res version of the collector’s edition packaging at the gallery.
