Max Payne 3 due for PC on June 1

"Initial launch" sales reach 3 million.

Max Payne 3 will launch for PC on June 1, Rockstar Games has announced. Additionally, Take-Two announced during its earnings call today that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game sold three million units during its “initial launch.”

“The title [Max Payne 3] received excellent reviews and sold-in approximately 3 million units during its initial launch,” reads a note from the publisher. “Max Payne 3 will also be available for the PC on June 1.”

Max Payne 3 launched for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 15 in North America and on May 18 internationally.
