DmC Devil May Cry’s Dante different from original Dante

Game set in parallel world.

The Dante in Ninja Theory’s DmC Devil May Cry is not the same Dante from Capcom’s Devil May Cry. Ninja Theory’s game, explains the latest Dengeki PlayStation, is set in a parallel world.

Ninja Theory suggested the game take place in an alternate setting, according to the magazine. That way white-haired Dante could still exist in his own world (and in Marvel vs. Capcom 3).

DmC Devil May Cry is due for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
