Robotics;Notes set for PS3, Xbox 360

5pb. continues multiplatform approach

Robotics;Notes, 5pb.’s latest adventure game, will release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in spring 2012, the latest issue of Famitsu has revealed.

The visual novel title, which is centered around robots, was initially revealed for unannounced platform(s) in February. It is the third entry in 5pb.’s series of science-themed adventure games, the first two being Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate. It revolves around a young boy who enjoys fighting games; he decides to build a robot based around motion capture and command input technology. Unlike 5pb.’s earlier works, it features 3D character models over artwork. The company is aiming for visuals on the level of Catherine and The Idolmaster 2, it said in February.
