Japan wants Kingdom Hearts, Crisis Core PSP Remasters

God Eater Burst, too

Japan wants to see Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep in high-definition. In the latest issue of Famitsu, readers of the magazine were polled on which PSP titles they’d like to see released on PlayStation 3 as a PSP Remaster. Square Enix topped the list.

The top five most wanted is a combination of Square and Namco Bandai:

1. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (Square Enix)
2. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (Square Enix)
3. Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy (Square Enix)
4. Gundam Next Plus (Namco Bandai)
5. God Eater Burst (Namco Bandai)

The poll is a part of an interview with Sony’s technical staff on the “PSP Engine” that powers PSP Remaster titles.

The first title in the PSP Remaster series, Capcom’s Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver., will release on August 25, 2011 in Japan.
