DICE aiding BioWare with Mass Effect 3’s gunfire

Battlefield developer Digital Illusions CE, or simply DICE, are lending a hand to BioWare in developing Mass Effect 3. According to the latest issue of Belgium gaming magazine CHIEF, the pair are working together in creating realistic sounds for when the game’s many guns are fired.

DICE is taking into account the distance a bullet can travel, the environment its fired in, and its surrounding noises.

It’s always good to see two amazing teams working together on one epic project, even if its only a small piece of the game being collaborated on.
