Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood: free DLC adds new multiplayer mode and map next month

A new piece of free Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood downloadable content is coming to PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE in December, titled ‘Animus Project Update 1.0’.

The content includes a brand-new game mode and brand new map for Brotherhood‘s multiplayer component. Advanced Alliance is the new mode, which is described as a more difficult Alliance Mode, or a “tougher test for [Alliance Mode] players”. The new map, Mont Saint-Michel is located on a ricky island in Normandy, France. Its multi-leveld architecture “is perfect for hunters to surge from out of nowhere to execute their prey.”

Look out for the ‘Animus Project Update 1.0’ DLC on December 14. Once again, it’s absolutely free. Two screenshots of the DLC can be seen at the gallery.
