GDC ’09: Big (Multiplatform) Surprise Coming Tonight

Geoff Keighyly, video game journalist and avid tweeter, has updated his Twitter telling of a surprise that will come at the Game Developers Conference. Four hours ago, he wrote that “To answer your Qs, no Zelda is not the big surprise. That comes later today.”

About two hours ago, Geoff Keighly updated his Twitter writing “Big surprise is multi-platform. And it goes down in about 6 or 7 hours.” And just to be clear, about half-hour ago, he wrote “No, Sony and Microsoft are not merging to take on Nintendo” as an obvious joke tweet.

So, there’s a big multiplatform surprise tonight at around 9-10PM EST. We’ll update you when it happens.
