Star Fox ‘Battle Mode’ update launches September 29
Four-player local multiplayer support and three new stages.
Publisher Nintendo and developer Velan Studios will release a free update for Star Fox on Switch on September 29, which enhances Battle Mode and adds three new stages.
Here are the details:
Battle Mode is expanding with support for up to four players to play together on a single Nintendo Switch 2 system, including facing off against each other in local play and forming a team to join online battles.
Three new stages are also being added:
- Battle for control of a powerful laser on Katina
- Destroy asteroids while dodging destructive energy waves in Sector X
- Scan data modules before escaping a deadly surge on Venom
Star Fox is available now for Switch 2.
