Mercenaries Grace: Black Feather and the Golden Right Arm announced for PS5, Switch, and PC
Due out in November in Japan. English release also planned.
RideonJapan has announced Mercenaries Grace: Black Feather and the Golden Right Arm, the latest entry in its Mercenaries Saga strategy RPG series. It will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC via Steam in November in Japan. An English release is also in preparation, RideonJapan confirmed to Gematsu.
In Mercenaries Grace, players will form a mercenary company, level up characters, equip skills and gear, and battle through a variety of stages. Players control characters with different roles on grid-based, quarter-view battle maps, including Fighters who specialized in close-range attacks, Gunners proficient in long-range attacks, and Priests who heal and support allies.
The game uses a chess- or shogi-style turn-based system in which one allied unit moves, followed by one enemy unit. The usual strategy of moving all of your allies before the enemy gets a turn does not apply, meaning players must consider the risk of an immediate counterattack with every move.
