Dovetail Games has announced Train Sim World 7 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). It will launch on September 15.
Train Sim World 7 will be available in the following editions:
- Standard ($49.99 / £44.99 / €49.99)
- Deluxe Edition ($70.99 / £64.99 / €79.99)
- Special Edition ($129.99 / £114.99 / €129.99)
All three editions can be pre-ordered with a discount of at least 10 percent across all platforms, with Deluxe and Special Editions granting five days of early access to the game, as well as bonus decals.

New Features and PC-Exclusive Enhancements
Find new ways to cart cargo with Freight Hauler. Marshall freight to its destination free from instructions or schedules. It’s your choices, your strategy, as freight cars populate the route, each one looking for a home. Switch, shunt and haul them all as you see fit.
The forecast calls to you with Live Weather, have in-game weather powered by real-time location-specific data, getting you deep into the action exactly as it’s happening out in the World. The next job awaits, no matter the meteorology.
Take things a step further with enhanced realism by enabling safety systems by default! Now, should you choose to, step into the cab and find that the likes of AWS, PZB and more are already enabled—which is often the case for taking over trains—or keep things as they are if you prefer a relaxing run or still want to enable them yourself.
Take things beyond Ultra with an all-new “Epic” settings level, taking better advantage of modern hardware by extending draw distances and improving shadow quality. On top of that, Train Sim World 7 now runs on DirectX 12, supports DLSS 4.5 adding DLAA and upscaling, as well as FSR 4 for upscaling and frame generation. Make visuals the best they can be with an all-new Enhanced Lighting option for all TOD4 routes.
Right away, driver! On trains which have guards, they can now open and close the doors, increasing realism for driver-guard operations.

With a diverse array of features such as Photo Mode, Route Hopping and more, embark on your own journey, in your own way.
- Free Roam – Choose your path and explore any route with your favorite trains! Have the rails entirely to yourself or mix in with the timetable, running between scheduled services on your own ad hoc journeys.
- Conductor Mode – Tickets please! Enjoy a different pace on conductor-operated trains – check tickets between each station and work the passenger doors to safely dispatch your service. Take a moment to enjoy the scenery on longer stretches between stations.
- Creators Club – Get creative and customize your experience! Use Livery Designer to make your dream designs come to life, and Formation Designer to make up custom trains using your collection. Put creations to use with Free Roam and Scenario Planner, or share your creations online! (Dovetail Live sign-up required).

“Train Sim World Compatible” content released for a previous Train Sim World—features may remain unchanged from the original release and may not make use of all newer core features.
