Dark fantasy Soulslike action RPG The Relic: First Guardian will launch for Xbox Series and PC via Microsoft Store on September 25, followed by Switch 2 on October 9, publisher Perp Games and developer Project Cloud Games announced.
The Relic: First Guardian first launched for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on July 31.
Alongside the new release dates, Perp Games announced that the game’s price will be reduced to a more accessible $34.99 across all platforms starting August 26.
Here are the latest details, via Perp Games:
A Special Reward
Existing full-price owners across PC and PlayStation 5 can look forward to receiving an exclusive Sealing Stone before the upcoming price drop on August 26, which they retain permanently regardless of downloadable content ownership. Only distributed through to August 26, this stone unlocks a unique dungeon featuring a dedicated storyline, boss fight, and special loot. This limited item will not be distributed again after, serving as a permanent thank-you to early, full price supporters.
Specific information on this exclusive reward and how it can be acquired will be revealed in due course.
A Commitment to Ongoing Support
Ahead of the expanded release, and building on a series of post-launch patches, the game is set to receive a major update as part of the studio’s ongoing commitment to support and refine the title. Project Cloud Games has actively incorporated community feedback since release. Rewards from common enemies have changed from gold to much-needed Relic power, which aids skill progression. Plus, new map icons have been added to increase visibility on dungeon locations, making it easier to track down up to 80 unrelenting bosses (Brutals).
Continuing to deliver on their promise, there has been updates to stability, NPC behavior, balancing, rewards, events, combat, progression, localization, and general quality of life improvements since its launch on July 31. This sustained developer support is already yielding results, with player ratings and reviews revising upward across platforms.
With many exciting, community-driven updates and launches on the way from Project Cloud, The Relic: First Guardian remains stoic on its ambitious journey.
