METRO 2039 ‘Renegade’ trailer, screenshots

Follow the stranger's deadly infiltration into Moscow.

Publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games have released a new gameplay trailer and screenshots for METRO 2039.

Introduced on stage by 4A Games’ executive producer Jon Bloch, and co-creative director and audio lead Pavel Ulmer, the new gameplay trailer uncovers more of the dark past and mysterious identity of The Stranger as he employs a mixture of stealth and all-out combat to infiltrate a Novoreich-occupied Moscow.
This trailer gives players just a taste of the hauntingly beautiful hand-crafted environments waiting to be explored, from the realities of daily life in Sevastopolskaya station to the deadly irradiated surface of Moscow, and thrilling FPS stealth action gameplay made possible by harnessing the proprietary power of the 4A Engine.
4A Games also revealed the first details of the METRO 2039 Collector’s Edition, available to pre-order later this year. For the first time in METRO franchise history, the Collector’s Edition will allow players to become a tangible part of the world with an authentic, beautifully crafted replica of the mysterious Stranger’s battle-scared Spartan helmet. Fans can register their interest in the METRO 2039 Collector’s Edition now to be among the first to know when and where you can secure your very own piece of METRO history.

METRO 2039 is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store in February 2027.
