■ The Story Finally Reaches Its Conclusion̶—The Full Release Arrives with 25 Endings and the “True Ending”
Since launching in Steam Early Access last June, DRAPLINE has sold more than 50,000 copies and surpassed 100,000 wishlists, making it a title that continues to draw attention. The game has received more than 1,700 Steam user reviews, with 96% positive, earning an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating.
DRAPLINE is a training roguelite in which players take in a perpetually hungry dragon girl who will eat just about anything and spend one year raising her to become the strongest she can be. To face the approaching “Calamities,” players must train and strengthen their dragon girl. Early Access players have praised the game’s accessible one-hour runs and strategic depth that encourages repeated playthroughs, while speculation surrounding the mysteries hidden within its world has also become a major topic of discussion.
DRAPLINE was originally conceived as a training game about seeing what awaits at the end of the days spent raising your dragon girl. With the full release, the game will introduce DRAGON’S DISCIPLINE, a new mode leading to the game’s “true ending,” along with 25 different endings depicting the outcomes of the dragon girl’s upbringing. With these additions, the game will finally realize the full vision originally intended for its training-game experience.
“DRAGON’S DISCIPLINE,” a Substantial New Story Mode, and Endings Shaped by How You Raise Your Dragon Girl
A new mode, “DRAGON’S DISCIPLINE,” will be unlocked after progressing through “DAYS OF TORNADO” to a certain point. Its scenario is substantial enough that the existing “DAYS OF TORNADO” may come to feel like only the “first half” of the overall game, with “DRAGON’S DISCIPLINE” serving as the “second half.” While preserving the accessible one-hour-per-run gameplay of the existing mode, it also offers a deeper way to enjoy the game’s compelling world.
In addition, the full release will feature 25 different endings that branch according to the results of your dragon girl’s upbringing. How you raise her, and what kind of days you spend together, will shape the future she ultimately reaches.
Until now, repeat playthroughs have mainly focused on the roguelite appeal of “raising your character to become stronger and taking on higher difficulty challenges.” In the full release, however, each run will also bring the added enjoyment of a raising simulation: seeing what kind of ending awaits this time. Beyond enjoying build crafting and repeated runs, players will be able to experience one of the core pleasures of the raising-game genre—seeing the outcome of the child they nurtured through their own strategy.
Over the roughly 15 months of Early Access, DRAPLINE has continued to refine and strengthen its depth as a roguelite in response to player feedback. In the full release, “endings” will finally be added on top of that foundation, allowing DRAPLINE to reach the complete form envisioned from the beginning: a game about witnessing the story that lies beyond the days you spent raising your dragon girl.

Comment from DRAPLINE Developer Kanawo
“It’s hard to believe that more than a year has already passed since DRAPLINE entered Early Access.
“Originally, I intended DRAPLINE to be a much smaller and more compact game. But as I tried to live up to everyone’s expectations and support, I kept adding new ideas and updates, gradually developing it into a roguelite that could be enjoyed again and again.
“Now, with the full release, we have finally reached the point where we can implement the ‘conclusion’ to both the story and the raising-simulation side of the game.
“I‘m sure many of you have been eagerly waiting to see what comes after ‘DAYS OF TORNADO.’ The truth is, I’ve been just as eager to finally create and implement what comes next.
With ‘DRAGON’S DISCIPLINE,’ the world of DRAPLINE is finally complete. I hope you’ll see it through to the very end!
“And I also hope you’ll enjoy the soundtrack alongside the game and immerse yourself even more deeply in the world of DRAPLINE!”
