Star Ocean 30th Anniversary Live Stream set for July 19

No new game information to be presented.

Square Enix will host the Star Ocean 30th Anniversary Live Stream on July 19 at 20:00 JST, the company announced. You will be able to watch it on YouTube.

The broadcast will look back on the series’ history, including behind-the-scenes development stories, and announce various initiatives for the 30th anniversary. There will not be any information about a new game in the series. The program will be hosted by Neki Matsuzawa (Chiaki Matsuzawa) and Susumu Imadachi (Eleki Comic), with guests Yuchiro Kitao (Gemdrops) and Megumi Komaki (Square Enix).

The first Star Ocean launched for Super Famicom on July 19, 1996. The latest entry, Star Ocean: The Second Story, launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on November 2, 2023.
