Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online – Unanswered//butterfly 18-minute preview

Bandai Namco has released an 18-minute preview of the feature-length promotional animation Sword Art Online: Unanswered//butterfly included with the Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online Ultimate Edition.

The preview, which first premiered at Anime Expo 2026, will remain online until July 6, after which it will be removed from official accounts.

Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on July 9 in Japan and July 10 worldwide.
