High-speed aerial roguelite arcade flight combat game Wind Runners will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on September 23, publisher Twin Sails Interactive and developer Ludic Studios announced. A demo is available now.

About
At first glance, Wind Runners looks like a vibrant arcade shooter. Then the fight starts moving, and it does not slow down. Players are not just dodging bullets or pointing a ship at enemies. They are managing speed, inertia, boost, braking, and barrel rolls while making split-second decisions in the middle of combat. Every dodge, turn, attack, and escape route becomes part of the same challenge: mastering momentum under pressure.
The loop is simple: Fight. Die. Improve. Defeat.
In the Steam demo, players can take control of Zenna, an aggressive style of pilot who uses high mobility to maintain constant pressure on enemies. Her ship features an automatic main laser that can overheat, plus two missile-based special attacks: one powerful, aimed shot for bosses and priority targets, and one volley that automatically locks onto nearby enemies.
The demo also introduces players to the Zerah Igna Star System, where each run sends them across visually distinct planets, dynamic missions, and dangerous encounters against the Realm’s armada.
