Nintendo Switch Online ‘DK Challenge’ event and Donkey Kong Bananza DLC ‘DK Island and Emerald Rush’ Super Mario Bros. collaboration announced
Earn collectible digital Challenge Cards
Nintendo has announced the “DK Challenge” event celebrating all things Donkey Kong for Nintendo Switch Online users on Switch 2.
Starting today and continuing thorugh September 1 at 12:59 a.m. PT / 3:59 a.m. ET, players can take on challenges across several Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and Game Boy games featuring Donkey Kong available via the Nintendo Classics applications. By completing them, players can earn collectible digital Challenge Cards. Users who own Donkey Kong Bananza can take on even more challenges.
Additionally, the Donkey Kong Bananza downloadable content “DK Island and Emerald Rush” will receive new, limited-time content in collaboration with Super Mario Bros. The event will be held in four waves, with the first beginning today. Users who have completed the main game and purchased the downloadable content can enjoy new outfits for Donkey Kong and Pauline inspired by Mario and Luigi, as well as “?” Blocks, Super Mushrooms, and more.
Donkey Kong Bananza is available now for Switch 2.
